Quality Engineer - Metals Fabrication
for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, scam warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also must not include Pay/Schedule/Benefits unless posting actually states them. The posting includes "Lake Air Products Offers: Competitive Wage Full Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, LTD, etc.) 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off/ Holiday Pay Gym Reimbursement Tuition reimbursement". So Benefits section exists. Pay: "Competitive Wage" is mentioned but not a specific number; we should only include Pay section if posting actually states them. It says "Competitive Wage" which is vague but still a statement about pay. The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state Competitive Wage, which is a statement about pay, albeit not specific. Should we include Pay? The instruction: "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state Competitive Wage, so we can include Pay section with that content. However also note: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could combine Pay into Benefits? But they are separate headings. Might be better to have Benefits section that includes compensation details. But they said use headings for Benefits, Pay, Schedule. If we include Pay, we need to put something like "Competitive Wage". That's not placeholder like "commensurate with experience" etc. It's a specific statement albeit generic. I'd include Pay.
Schedule: The posting mentions "This will be an on-site position, with flexibility to be based at our New Hope, MN location. The AND travel locally to our other Twin Cities, MN sites." Also "PLEASE NOTE - This position is 100% on-site and no relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates." Also mentions travel. No explicit schedule like full-time, part-time, shift. Not stated. So we should not create Schedule section because no specific schedule info.
Now sections: About the role (intro paragraph). Responsibilities (list). Qualifications (maybe combine with Requirements? They have Qualifications section). Skills maybe separate? The posting includes qualifications like experience, knowledge, etc. Could treat that as Qualifications. Skills maybe not separate; we could omit Skills if no distinct content. Requirements maybe same as Qualifications. The posting has a "Qualifications" heading already. We'll follow that.
We need to use for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must preserve all substantive information. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The posting includes some legal export control info; that's substantive? It's about export control regulation, which is relevant to eligibility. Should we keep? It's not boilerplate; it's a requirement. It's part of the posting. We should keep it. However it's somewhat legal; but it's not EEO. It's about export control. We'll keep as part of Qualifications or Requirements? It mentions "Unless an exemption applies, candidate(s) must be a U.S. Person* within the meaning of the law OR obtain an export control license." Also includes definition of U.S. Person. That's substantive. We'll include that under Qualifications or maybe a separate section like "Eligibility". But we only have allowed headings; we could put it under Qualifications as a bullet.
We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we don't repeat.
Now craft HTML.
Sections:

Benefits
- Competitive Wage
- Full Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, LTD, etc.)
- 401(k) with Company Match
- Paid Time Off / Holiday Pay
- Gym Reimbursement
- Tuition reimbursement
We might also include Pay section separate but we already put Competitive Wage in Benefits. Could also create Pay section with Competitive Wage and maybe Benefits separate. But to avoid thin sections, we could combine. However the instruction: "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It suggests we could have both Benefits and Pay. But we also have "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." If we put Competitive Wage in Benefits, it's still substantive. Could also create Pay section with Competitive Wage and Benefits separate with other items. That would be two sections, both substantive. That's okay.
Let's decide: We'll create Pay section with Competitive Wage. Benefits section with the rest.
Thus:
Pay
Competitive Wage
Benefits
- Full Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, LTD, etc.)
- 401(k) with Company Match
- Paid Time Off / Holiday Pay
- Gym Reimbursement
- Tuition reimbursement
Now ensure no duplicated lines. Check that we didn't repeat anything like "Competitive Wage" appears only in Pay.
Check that we didn't include any boilerplate like "PLEASE NOTE - This position is 100% on-site and no relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates." That's substantive about on-site and relocation. Should we include that? It's about work location. Could be part of About the role or maybe a separate note. We have already mentioned on-site and flexibility in About the role. We could add a sentence about no relocation assistance. Let's incorporate into About the role: "This will be an on-site position, with flexibility to be based at our New Hope, MN location. The AND travel locally to our other Twin Cities, MN sites. PLEASE NOTE - This position is 100% on-site and no relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates." We need to clean up the duplicated "The AND". The original text: "This will be an on-site position, with flexibility to be based at our New Hope, MN location. The AND travel locally to our other Twin Cities, MN sites." Likely a typo; we should interpret as "And travel locally..." We'll rewrite correctly.
Thus About the role paragraph: "Lake Air Products is a fast-growing company that lives by our Core Values: Customer Focus, Passion for Performance, and Right People - Best Teams. We are adding a Quality Engineer to our growing quality department. This will be an on-site position, with flexibility to be based at our New Hope, MN location, and includes local travel to other Twin Cities, MN sites. Please note that this position is 100% on-site and no relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates."
Now ensure we didn't include any application instructions like "Please note that this position could include travel to our Roseville, MN facility and would be subject to export control regulation." That's part of eligibility/requirements. We already covered export control in Qualifications. The Roseville facility mention is about travel; we already mentioned travel to other Twin Cities sites. Could add that specifically: "may include travel to our Roseville, MN facility". We'll incorporate into About the role or Responsibilities? It's about location. We'll add to About the role: "may include travel to our Roseville, MN facility". So final About the role: includes local travel to other Twin Cities, MN sites, may include travel to Roseville, MN facility.
Now check for any leftover boilerplate: "Nothing in this posting should be interpreted as limiting applications based on nationality or citizenship status." That's a statement about non-discrimination; could be considered EEO boilerplate. The instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This line is about not limiting applications based on nationality or citizenship status, which is EEO-related. So we should remove it.
Also the definition of U.S. Person is part of export control; we kept that.
Now ensure we didn't include any duplicated lines like "The Quality Engineer will use their technical skills to create inspection protocol for coordinate-measuring machines, visual inspection devices, and other test and inspection equipment. They fill roles as data gatherers, analysts, and reporters, using custom-written programs to generate inspection and test data for manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customers." That's substantive description of role; we might want to include that in About the role or Responsibilities. We have not included that yet. We should incorporate that content. Let's add to About the role after the first sentences: "The Quality Engineer will use their technical skills to create inspection protocol for coordinate-measuring machines, visual inspection devices, and other test and inspection equipment. They will serve as data gatherers, analysts, and reporters, using custom-written programs to generate inspection and test data for manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customers."
Now ensure we didn't duplicate.
Now final HTML.
Check that we didn't include any markdown fences. Just raw HTML
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
