Quality Engineer

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will acquire job skills and learn policies, procedures, and work instructions to complete routine tasks. You will work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment, and routinely interact with cross-functional groups within the Liebherr organization. This role involves acting as a liaison between suppliers and Liebherr for quality, production, and process capability concerns.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, analyze, and correct problems in purchased product quality, production, and control at supplier and Liebherr manufacturing locations.
• Apply and promote quality tools and techniques.
• Conduct cross-functional audits, generate reports, and follow up with corrective actions.
• Analyze data, develop reports, and quality metrics.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis, Corrective, and Preventive actions within the organization.
• Develop quality and technical documentation.
• Support production operations for quality-related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or Associate’s degree in an engineering-related discipline.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 2 years of mechanical experience or 4 to 6 years of mechanical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
