Quality Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Department in Easton, PA. In this role, you'll enhance the quality of products painted, assembled, or kitted at the Commerce Park Facility with a focus on process improvement. You'll work closely with the Quality Supervisor to identify and act on opportunities to improve existing processes/quality controls or develop new ones where they are lacking. This is an opportunity to utilize Six Sigma and other Quality tools to develop new processes, as well as improve the effectiveness of existing ones.
What You'll Build & Own
- Lead and participate on improvement project teams, including Six Sigma and T&OE.
- Perform root cause investigations and develop robust corrective actions when quality issues are identified by the customer or internally.
- Provide support for Victaulic Global QA initiatives, as required.
- Track and report on Cost of Quality and Cost of Non-Quality metrics for the facility and identify opportunities to optimize.
- Complete ISIR's for new products, processes, and vendors at Commerce Park.
- Participate in PFMEAs for New Product Introductions.
- Perform trend analysis and establish ongoing manufacturing / quality metrics for the facility.
- Support Plant Quality Supervisor in preparation for ISO 9001 registration audits, as well as agency and internal audits.
- Other projects or tasks as assigned by the Plant Quality Supervisor in support of Production.

What Sets You Apart
- Engineering degree required.
- 3+ years experience in Manufacturing and Quality.
- Current or prior ASQ CQE and/or CSSGB or BB certification desired.
- Proficient in problem solving.
- Working knowledge of measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and their application (control charts, process capability etc.) Knowledge in advanced statistical methods a plus.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of electronic systems and software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MiniTab). Experience with SolidWorks a plus.
- Knowledge of Victaulic product line desired.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to manage work independently and work well in cross-functional teams.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for the full benefits package described above.
