Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Liaison with company and Customers on Quality matters.
• Cook up performance reports, on-site customer quality audits, and complete self-audits as needed.
• Lead site Quality Technicians in meeting customer expectations during complaint and nonconforming investigation responses.
• Identify manufacturing and development constraints.
• Collaborate with management and technical staff in performing root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prioritize, plan, and execute work activities in line with department and company priorities with minimal supervision.
• Support the development and maintenance of QMS to ensure compliance with standards, including ISO9001.
• Conduct internal and external audits, publish findings and recommendations.
• Create reports, communicate, and publish quality measurements and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.
• Ability to manage projects and interact with cross-functional groups.
• Must be able to travel a minimum of 20% of the time.
• Experience in ISO9001:2015 is preferred.
• 6 Sigma, Shainin, or other statistical problem solving certification and/or experience is preferred.
