About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own product failure investigations. Lead cross-functional teams to perform deep-dive root cause analysis and implement robust CAPAs
  • Confidently drive the company's response to customer complaints and lead technical discussions to resolve quality issues
  • Support AS9100 audits, customer surveys, and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs) to strengthen our QMS
  • Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, incoming, and final inspection to resolve active production issues

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical work experience)
  • Practical experience with 8D, RCCA, and CAPA frameworks
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently present data and defend quality decisions to customers and management
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Position requires access to controlled technology subject to US export controls. Qualified candidates must be a US Person (including US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Government)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, specifically PFMEA and PPAP
  • Experience with RF coaxial connectors, components, and cable assemblies
  • Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and auditing

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation, incentives and retirement plans
  • 401k with a company match plus an additional employer-paid contribution
  • 15 days of Paid Time Off, tiering up in years 3, 5 and 8
  • 12 paid holidays
  • Complete benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, student loan repayment assistance, tuition reimbursement, EAP, a company-matched 401k contribution and a non-elective company 401k contribution

A supportive, high-trust work environment with clear expectations, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence. The stability of a company with a record of strong financial performance. A meritocracy where a high level of achievement and contribution is rewarded. On the job training and career development opportunities. Veteran and military-friendly environment.
