Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non‑compliance reports, site instructions/observations, materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documentation.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and collaborate with the department for material procurement and quality assurance.
• Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Assist employees in understanding all quality standards, ensure compliance with quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain system quality.
• Report to the QA/QC Manager, controlling and monitoring all activities related to quality.
• Responsible for daily quality activities.
• Arrange Factory Acceptance Tests and QA audits.
• Manage all third‑party agencies related to quality.
• Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
• Verify that site quality activities follow applicable codes and standards.
• Participate in internal and external site audits.
• Coordinate all quality site inspections through site quality inspectors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical engineering.
• 7–8 years minimum experience in the solar or renewable industry, focused on quality.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Inspection and auditing skills.
• Familiarity with Indian and international standards (IS/IEC).
