About the Role
Quality Engineer overseeing all Quality Assurance functions at the plant level throughout product launch and lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with customer, internal, AS9100/ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate quality standards, procedures, and safety across manufacturing lines.
- Lead APQP activities, develop Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, and prepare customer PPAPs.
- Act as primary technical liaison with external customers on quality issues, including corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement using data collection, control charting, and experimental design.
- Oversee work instruction development, implement quality training, and promote team growth.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to identify quality improvements.
- Develop and maintain the quality team, supporting career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably in machining or metal casting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab software.
Additional Details
Position is on-site in North Billerica, MA, with no relocation assistance. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work without visa sponsorship.
