Quality Engineer
About the role
You'll help ensure our products meet the highest standards throughout their entire lifecycle—from development and production to ongoing improvements. You'll apply quality engineering tools, risk management practices, and problem-solving skills to improve products and manufacturing processes while helping prevent potential issues before they occur. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to product and process improvements, support testing and validation efforts, and may provide guidance to QA technical staff. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in engineering principles who enjoys continuous improvement and making a measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- With oversight, work on tasks in support of larger quality projects.
- Help to resolve quality issues in production.
- Test and validate data, systems, or products as directed.
- Support engineering in establishing and auditing Romac controlled documentation.
- Develop inspection methods to ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Expertise in continuous improvement relative to Quality Assurance.
- Proven success in ability to see projects through to completion.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
