About the role
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all aerospace and defense products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Identify and address quality issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with quality control tools and techniques
- Understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Six Sigma principles
