Quality Engineer

About the role

Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Quality Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

• Review Effectiveness Of Existing Quality processes.
• Lead problem-solving efforts to determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
• Create, review, and update controlled process documentation.
• Define, implement, and evaluate process validation tools.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
• Compile and analyze data to drive organizational change efforts.
• Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
• Maintain monitoring and measuring equipment (MME) system.
• Review capability to comply with customer requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer; 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing; working knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis; auditing of ISO9001:2015 or comparable quality system; statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment; ANSI/ESD S20.20 controls; SQL or VBA.
