Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure all documents comply with current standards and procedures and accurately represent manufacturing processes.
• Lead and participate in Corrective Action Reporting and investigations.
• Ensure Corrective Actions are robust, tested, and prevent future recurrence internally and externally.
• Assist in designing and implementing preventative and corrective action solutions.
• Assist in establishing ongoing training programs to improve quality measurement techniques and increase quality awareness across the organization.
• Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Understand customer needs and verify producibility within process capabilities.
• Assist in inspection, First Article Inspection, RMA (Return Material Authorization), and MRR (Material Review Report) processes for accurate and timely completion of quality-related activities.
• Troubleshoot production processes and issues.
• Evaluate production capabilities and recommend improvements.
• Resolve quality and process issues.
• Interact with customers to troubleshoot product issues and resolve complaints or nonconformance issues, including completing associated documentation.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
