Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage supplier quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (8D preferred) to supplier, production, and customer quality issues
- Serve as a primary point of contact for supplier quality performance and improvement efforts
- Conduct and support product, process, and system audits in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements
- Support and maintain compliance with IATF-16949 standards (experience preferred, not required)
- Review quality trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions
- Support APQP and PPAP activities as required
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality Supervisors, and QA Technicians
- Provide quality leadership through influence and delegation (dotted-line support to QA technicians)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a high-growth manufacturing environment
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Exposure to ISO 9000 or IATF-16949 preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with suppliers and internal teams

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $72,000 – $105,000. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
