Key Responsibilities
- Identify and record problems relating to the product lines, initiate actions to prevent the recurrence of any nonconformities relating to products and processes.
- Aid in the evaluation and qualification of new product designs and new supplier materials via a new product development process.
- Maintain metrics and report on site quality objectives on a monthly basis.
- Lead performance improvement projects to enhance facility capability to consistently meet internal and customer requirements.
- Participate in documentation review, approval, revision, or creation as necessary to ensure processes are properly documented.
- Create First Article Inspection (FAI) of new product designs to ensure all requirements are met.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, striving to achieve customer satisfaction and prevent recurring issues.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with a Quality Emphasis.
- Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- ASQ and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing factory certified to AS9100, or ISO 9001.
- Experience with various quality system improvement tools, including 8D, Lean Six Sigma, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, Control Plans, Kaizen, CPK, Fishbone, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well in a high-volume production environment with minimal supervision.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints / CAD Drawings and utilize equipment such as calipers, calculators, computers, and comply with safety protocols in chemical and electronics laboratories.

Pay
Starting base pay for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
