Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop, establish and qualify methodologies for mechanical inspection methods including creation of necessary inspection procedures.
- Create set-up fixtures and programs for automated/non-contact inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, SmartScope, etc.).
- Cookordinate and perform Measurement System Analysis as required.
- Perform routine inspections as required.
- Support engineering as a GD&T subject matter expert.
- Participate in supplier qualification activities.
- Work within cross-function groups to implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in the mechanical inspection field and automated inspection equipment in a regulated industry.
- Knowledgeable of ANSI Y14.5 and geometric tolerancing techniques.
Qualifications
This Quality Engineer will develop and establish inspection and measurement methodologies for components and subassemblies. Must have CMM Experience to be considered.
