About the role
The Manufacturer is seeking a Quality Component Engineer full-time in Camarillo, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality standards
- Monitor and analyze quality performance
- Investigate product/production issues and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology
- Perform and participate in internal audits
- Maintain QMS procedures, records, and calibration schedules
- Provide IPC training and refereeing to production teams
- Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, customers, and management on continuous improvement initiatives
- Support safety committee activities and manage non-conforming materials
Requirements
- 3+ years of industrial experience, preferably in high-volume manufacturing or automation
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IPC 600, IPC 610, J-STD-001
- Experience with 8D corrective action methodology
- Data-driven mindset with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field (or equivalent)
Qualifications
- US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required (ITAR registered facility)
- On-site Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm in Camarillo, CA
