Project Description

The ITS Project Quality Assurance Team integrates all technical and quality assurance aspects of DSS projects, including planning, implementation, and assessment. This includes auditing and analyzing the systems that produce web‑based and mobile applications to improve functionality, add user value, and minimize reporting processing times. The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the application’s features and functions are defect‑free and conform to the highest quality industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation, design, implementation, and verification of the application’s features and functionality.
• Work directly with Business Users, UI/UX Designers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, and Infrastructure teams to maintain application quality at the highest standards and align with business specifications.
• Identify business requirements, translate them into test cases, and create relevant automation scripts for application enhancements.
• Create and execute automation scripts and periodic checks as part of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure the application is defect‑free.
• Create and maintain an automation framework using best practices with Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, and the Page Object Model.
• Create and manage performance test scripts using JMeter.
• Assess the performance of various DSS applications to measure and improve response time and overall performance.
• Develop database queries to retrieve required results from DSS databases and ensure data accuracy is maintained at 100%.
• Ensure web and mobile applications adhere to DSS standards, including security and cross‑browser accessibility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Business/Quality Analysis tools such as Azure, Zephyr, JIRA, Balsamiq, and MS Visio.
• Writing complex queries in MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Creating, executing, and managing automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, TestNG, IDE, Postman, RestAssured, Log4j, JMeter, etc.
