Quality Engineer

Location: Fremont, CA • Shift: 1st • Employment Type: Temp to Hire

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and hardware environment supporting quality systems, process improvement initiatives, and customer satisfaction efforts. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive quality professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key Quality interface between customers and internal teams to ensure expectations are met
• Support complaint management activities and corrective/preventive action implementation (CAPA)
• Analyze supplier performance and provide reporting and feedback
• Participate in internal Quality System Audits and corrective action follow-up
• Develop and analyze statistical data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities
• Support and maintain ISO9001 compliance and associated procedures
• Assist in the development and delivery of quality-related training programs
• Support product development and new product introduction (NPI) activities
• Develop and evaluate process capability studies, control plans, and process audits
• Create and maintain inspection/test plans, standards, and work instructions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Test Engineering
• Experience in electronics, hardware, server, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
• Knowledge of ISO9001 standards and quality systems
• Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis, SPC, FMEA, and process improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus
