Job Summary & Essential Functions

• Review and analysis of the customer purchase order to assure compliance.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other functional groups; provide weekly progress updates on open action items.
• Assist cross‑functional teams in problem investigations.
• Recommend more efficient, quality‑oriented processes to support continual improvement.
• Provide manufacturing support, including root‑cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for product issues.
• Serve as QA representative at meetings as required.
• Facilitate customer corrective action request (CAR) responses.
• Data mine for trend analysis of defects and key performance indicators (KPI).
• Assist with annual internal audits and product process audits to ensure compliance.
• Help define and monitor the quality management system and foster an organizational culture that emphasizes quality processes.
• Perform other assignments as required.
• Monitor personnel and processes to ensure compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Update area supervision regarding concerns.
• Support special projects and tasks as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes, work measurement, and work standards.
• Proficient in technical writing with strong documentation skills; attention to detail; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Analytical expertise, including planning, effective problem resolution, and priority setting.
• Understanding of DOE, Six‑Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing (desired).
• Intermediate computer skills: email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to communicate with customers and project a positive company image.
• Negotiation and conflict‑management skills; experience troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

Required Experience, Education, & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining production and inventory control standards in a manufacturing setting.
• Prior experience with ISO or AS environments is a plus.

ITAR/EAR Compliance

This position requires access to export‑controlled information and/or hardware. Candidates must be U.S. Persons who comply with all U.S. export control laws and regulations, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or the ability to meet ITAR and EAR requirements.
