Responsibilities
- Perform part inspections of machine components
- Maintain inspection sheets and ensure technicians have correct information (drawings, check sheets, write up forms)
- Determines whether test results are acceptable or not
- Communicate those results and hold equipment as necessary
- Check and determine corrective actions for outgoing products
- Analyze plant complaints and work with the team to provide root cause analysis
- Make simple drawing edits (Autocad, Inventor)
- Perform basic maintenance on lab equipment
- Assist in developing quality control procedures and practices
- Final sign off and tagging of equipment prior to shipment
- Develop and maintain work instructions for repairs
- Support engineering projects as required
Job Skills
- Advanced math skills
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
- Good decision making skills
- Problem solving skills / Root cause analysis experience (5 Why, A3, 8D)
- Teamwork experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Small project management
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in Quality Control and/or Continuous Improvement
- Polyworks

- Able to travel up to 15%
- Able to lift 50 lbs
