What You Will Be Doing
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to establish and enforce quality standards.
- Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
- Conduct quality-assurance tests and perform statistical analysis to identify non-conforming products.
- Audit quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions that meet reliability standards.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a related Master's degree, or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
- Ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
- Leverage Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
- SAP Application Experience.
- IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
- First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.
- Special Process Engineering Experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.

- Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
