Responsibilities
- Interpret project-specific contractual requirements into executable actions for the project team.
- Communicate requirements to the entire project team, including engineers, manufacturing personnel, purchasing, inspectors, receiving/QC inspectors, contracts, etc.
- Work directly with project teams to ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Identify potential improvements to corporate-wide procedures to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Interact with customer technical and quality assurance personnel to understand requirements and address issues.
- Collaborate with contracts and other corporate departments on project-specific issues.
- Lead customer quality assurance audits.
Requirements
- An engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution is required, with at least 3 or preferably 5 or more years of relevant experience in an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Certifications such as Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, or ASQ Quality Engineer certification are preferred and demonstrate the candidate’s expertise and commitment to Quality Assurance.
- Reliability Engineering experience or certification (such as ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer) is highly desirable and will strengthen the candidate’s ability to support product reliability and lifecycle performance.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, concern for accuracy, and strong written and oral communication skills are also required.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.

Salary Range: $84,000 – $130,000 per year, based on education and experience.
