Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field with 1+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No experience required with a STEM Master's degree.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- The ability to obtain a Secret clearance within a year of starting is required.
Job Description
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of manufactured and procured products within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute inspection plans for manufactured and procured components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
- Maintain and improve quality documentation and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Support cross-functional teams with data-driven quality metrics and reporting.

Desired Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
- Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods.
- Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience.
- J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization.
- ASQ CQE.
