Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and customer requirements through audits, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies. This role requires promoting a culture of accountability and driving compliance across the organization. Responsibilities Prepare for and manage onsite audits, including hosting external customer and regulatory auditors.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle.Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices.Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance trends to ensure adherence to new and changing laws.Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a quality role in the aviation industry.Working knowledge of regulatory standards in relation to FAA requirements.Familiarity with industry quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9000.Experience in coordinating/conducting audits and managing corrective actions.Ability to collect and interpret information to make data-based decisions.Experience working with internal and external customers.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Strong attention to detail, organization, and results-oriented mindset.Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
