About the role

The Quality Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. You’ll apply engineering methodologies, tools, and standards to design inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for production processes, equipment, and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products.
• Review relevant inspection and measurement tools and techniques.
• Clearly recognize and report information relevant to sound quality engineering design.
• Interpret drawings and review documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience.
• Clear understanding of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, and similar standards.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire; applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
• Outstanding communication skills to work proactively with a project team.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $80,403.00/Yr. – USD $89,198.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (e.g., geographic location). Actual pay may vary.
