Quality Director

Redtree is a growing engineering consulting firm delivering design, project management, and construction support across power generation, industrial facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, and complex energy programs. We are building the quality function that will let us scale — and we are looking for a Quality Director to own it.This is a builder role. You will architect and lead Redtree's quality management system across a distributed, multi-project, multi-client organization: the governance, the audit program, the corrective action discipline, and the metrics that give leadership real visibility into how we perform. Quality here is a management system that makes the firm scalable, not a checklist attached to a deliverable. What you'll doArchitect and lead Redtree's quality management system, integrating engineering, project delivery, procurement, and construction support into a single governance frameworkDrive ISO 9001 alignment and certification readiness; build the internal audit program and manage external audit and client audit cyclesOwn the CAPA process end to end — root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, closure verification, and trend analysis that prevents recurrenceEstablish quality documentation standards, procedures, and controls that hold up under client and regulatory scrutinyBuild the quality metrics and reporting layer — KPI dashboards, nonconformance and rework trends, project quality performance — and brief firm leadership on what the data saysStand up supplier and subcontractor quality processes as our delivery model expandsPartner with engineering and project leadership to embed quality checkpoints across the project lifecycle, from proposal through turnoverLead client-facing quality reviews, audits, and qualification processes; represent Redtree's quality position to clients and partnersBuild quality capability across the organization — training, mentorship, and a culture where accountability is owned by the delivery teams, not policed by yours What you bring8+ years in quality management, with leadership experience owning a quality function — not a project QA/QC seatBackground in AEC, EPC, energy, power, or technical engineering services — you understand how engineering and construction organizations actually deliverDemonstrated experience building or maturing a quality management system, not inheriting and maintaining oneWorking command of ISO 9001; exposure to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 55001, AS9100, or ISO/IEC 17025 is valuableHands-on ownership of audit management, CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality documentation controlExperience translating quality performance into metrics executives act on, and comfort presenting to firm leadershipTrack record leading through influence across distributed teams, disciplines, and geographiesSelf-directed and effective in a growing organization where the system does not exist yet Valued, not requiredPE license and familiarity with engineering discipline codes and standardsISO 9001 Lead Auditor certificationLean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement credentialExperience with quality and reporting platforms — Power BI, Appian, Qualtrics, or similarSupplier quality or contract manufacturing quality experienceMulti-country or multi-site quality program experience Why RedtreeRedtree is part of CSI's global network, delivering engineering across power generation, industrial infrastructure, renewables, and mission-critical facilities.
