Quality Director

About the role

The Quality Director oversees all aspects of quality management within Progress Rail Services Corporation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance programs
• Oversee quality control processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality
• Manage quality team members and provide performance feedback
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance and/or quality control
• Proven track record of successful implementation of quality systems
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
