Quality Data Analyst - Automotive

The Quality Data Analyst - Automotive position at Stefanini Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a candidate with a passion for data-driven decision-making to solve technical quality issues. The role involves using both fundamental and advanced statistical techniques to identify and solve complex quality challenges, particularly in the areas of powertrain quality and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methodologies for emerging issue detection, forecasting, and predicting quality and uptime performance.
• Work with various data sources including warranty, logged vehicle, customer data, manufacturing data, and high-resolution truck data.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Europe, India, and Brazil on various initiatives.
• Establish a network working closely with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Data Scientists during the implementation and deployment of advanced analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the quality and customer satisfaction (Q&CS) team by driving and impacting the quality of the brand through advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Requirements

• A minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with automotive and/or heavy truck industry, and a blend of experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with problem-solving in a quality organization that is technical-focused.
• Very skilled in PowerBI.
• Knowledge of relevant technical tools such as SQL, Python, R, Azure Analytics Cloud, Jupiter Notebook, and Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of unsupervised and supervised machine learning techniques including algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
