About the role
The Quality Data Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring quality compliance and operational excellence within Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC. This role involves collecting, consolidating, and validating quality data from various sources to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, and validate quality data from sources like NCRs, MRB, FAI, in-process inspection, audit findings, supplier performance reports, and customer returns.
- Maintain data quality and collaborate with process owners to resolve discrepancies and enhance data integrity.
- Develop, maintain, and publish key performance indicators (KPIs) and scorecards, including defect rates, scrap and rework, escapes, audit nonconformities, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.
- Create and update reports and dashboards in tools like Excel and Power BI to support management reviews and team meetings.
- Analyze trends, Pareto charts, and root cause analyses to identify systemic issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to translate data insights into improvement projects and formal Corrective Action Plans (CAPAs).
- Support internal and external audits by providing quality performance data, evidence files, and metrics packs.
- Identify opportunities to automate data collection, transformation, and report generation to streamline processes.
- Train and guide team members on data entry standards, use of quality reports/dashboards, and interpretation of metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Quality and Operational Excellence functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, business intelligence, or quality engineering/quality analyst role, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense.
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning, validating, and reconciling data from multiple sources and producing accurate, repeatable reports.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas, charts), and experience with business intelligence/reporting tools like Power BI.
- Understanding of quality tools and concepts such as Pareto analysis, SPC, control charts, capability indices, 8D, 5-Why, and FMEA.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or AS9110 quality system requirements and associated documentation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through, with a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
