Quality Coordinator - 2nd shift
About the role
The Warehouse Quality Auditor position ensures quality expectations including, but not limited to, employee safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
- Absorb and assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
- Perform timely checks to meet specifications
- Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
- Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
- Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
- Other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree preferred
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in food grade facility
- Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Some positions may require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Pay
Weekly Hourly Pay: $15.00 per hour to start, shift pay increases to $17.00 per hour once temporary assignment is completed

First Shift Monday - Friday 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM
