Quality Coordinator - 2nd Shift

About the role

Ryder is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Quality Coordinator in College Park, GA.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Aid in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines

Requirements

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Some positions may require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Pay

$19.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am
