About the role
This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies and final assemblies in the production area.
- Perform Quality Process Assessments
- Performs required inspections in accordance with procedures and planning documentation.
- Performs required inspections using standard measurement instruments.
- Must be able to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Requirements
- For Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
- For Level 3: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- Experience working with government contractors.
- SMI (Standard Measuring Instruments) experience.
- Interpret drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge and understanding of GD&T.
- Excellent shop math skills and advanced trigonometry.
- Experience with ISO 9000/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/PES techniques.
- Good computer skills - MS Office suite.
- Able to stand and sit for long periods of time, walk up and down stairs, climb up ladders, reach into tight spaces, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00
Schedule
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
