Quality Control Technician

About the role
The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment, focusing on quality control through routine testing of raw materials, in-process components, and final products.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
- Conduct daily pre/post pour inspections on products
- Monitor production operations as required
- Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products when necessary
- Report process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns to management
- Perform other temporary or permanent responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Quality control experience in a related industry
- ACI / PCI Certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification
- ACI Strength Testing and ACPA Pipe School Certifications preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
