Full-time position on the 3rd shift (Monday - Friday, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM) with overtime as required. Pay is $19.00/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential when applicable.
About the Role
Ensure that daily assigned Value Added work orders meet productivity goals, quality requirements, and customer expectations by following the customer’s SOPs and guidelines. This involves conducting timely and periodic checks during the production process and documenting audit results.

Responsibilities
- Productivity:
- Meet established hourly production standards and escalate issues per SOP.
- Review and understand customer work instructions before starting orders.
- Update visual goal charts hourly if applicable.
- Understand procedures for operating machines.
- Inspections:
- Have a working knowledge of assigned production lines and processes.
- Understand hourly production progress via goal boards or metrics.
- Follow SOPs and customer work instructions for date coding, expiration dates, and product quality.
- Document production inspections at appointed intervals and ensure accuracy.
- Alert management immediately about non-conformance issues.
- Initiative:
- Report personnel, productivity, or safety issues immediately.
- Submit Value Add Inspection forms at the end of each shift.
- Recommend improvements to daily processes.
- Safety:
- Understand machine operating procedures.
- Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe acts immediately.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Ensure safety guards are in place and policies are followed.
- Quality:
- Perform visual inspections for carton formation, date coding, packaging quality, expiration dates, product correctness, damage, pallet formation, machine wrap, and pallet label application.
- Follow established inspection protocols.
- Conduct initial product inspections at the start of each production run.
- Perform periodic interval inspections as designated by management.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, legible, and filed at the end of the shift.
- Documentation:
- Accurately complete all associated paperwork, including customer-required documentation, production reports, and audits.
- General:

Requirements
- Ability to document and record findings legibly and timely.
- Ability to provide work direction and motivate the workforce to achieve daily goals.
- Basic arithmetic, reading, and writing skills.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Experience or willingness to receive training in food safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to push, pull, remove, and place products in various configurations using fingers, hands, and arms.
Pay
$19.00/hourly plus a $1.50 shift differential when applicable.
Schedule
3rd shift: Monday - Friday, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM, with overtime as required.
