Quality Control Technician-3rd shift
Essential Functions
- Taking of paint temperature
- Titrations
- Making measurements of film thickness
- Testing inter-coat adhesion
- Paint hardness testing
- Color inspection
- Conducting inspections using measurement tools and testing equipment
- Identifying defects and documenting findings in detailed reports or digital quality management systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to meet customer expectations
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or military environment
- Completion of post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency in navigating and using a computer
- Following instructions
- Adherence to required reporting of relevant laboratory data
- Attention to detail and precision
- Proficiency in and maintenance of inspection tools and laboratory equipment
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
- Experience using machinery
Physical Requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 6-8 hours
- Work in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
- Walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift
- Handle equipment safely
