Full-time position on the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with overtime as required. Base wage is $19.00/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential when applicable.

Responsibilities
- Productivity:
- Meet established hourly production standards and escalate issues per SOP.
- Review and understand customer work instructions before starting orders.
- Update visual goal charts hourly, if applicable.
- Understand machine operating procedures.
- Inspections:
- Have a good working knowledge of assigned production lines and processes.
- Monitor hourly production progress via goal boards or established metrics.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer work instructions for date coding, expiration dates, and packaging quality.
- Document all production inspections at appointed intervals using established forms.
- Ensure inspections are accurate and thorough; alert management to non-conformance issues immediately.
- Initiative:
- Report personnel, productivity, or safety issues immediately.
- Submit Value Add Inspection forms at the end of each shift.
- Make recommendations to improve daily process efficiency.
- Safety:
- Understand all machine operating procedures.
- Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe acts immediately.
- Promote safety awareness and provide safety suggestions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure all safety guards are in place on equipment.
- Follow all safety policies, practices, and SOPs.
- Quality:
- Perform visual inspections for carton formation, date coding, packaging quality, expiration dates, product correctness, damage-free products, pallet build formation, machine wrap, and pallet label application.
- Follow established inspection protocols.
- Conduct initial product inspections at the start of every new production run.
- Perform periodic interval inspections as designated by management.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, legible, and complete, including non-conformances, times, initials, and dates.
- File completed documents at the end of each shift.
- Documentation:
- Accurately complete all associated paperwork, including customer-required documentation, Production Reports, and Production Audits.
- General:

- Maintain professionalism in all communications and meetings with customers and coworkers.
- Assist others as directed by management.
Requirements
- Ability to document and record findings legibly and in a timely manner.
- Ability to provide work direction and motivate the workforce to achieve daily goals.
- Basic arithmetic, reading, and writing skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Experience or willingness to receive training in food safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to push, pull, remove, and place products in various configurations using fingers, hands, and arms.
Pay
$19.00/hourly plus a $1.50 shift differential when applicable.
Schedule
2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with overtime as required.
