Responsibilities
- Perform audits at various stages of the distribution process to identify and correct errors.
- Use electronic scanning devices to audit inventory and track movement of products.
- Scan and verify accuracy of item, quantity, and destination of product being loaded against invoice.
- Document and report errors.
- Read and understand Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents to ensure proper Inbound and Outbound warehouse process.
- Understand product weights and types to maintain quality and avoid damage and spoilage of products.
- Provide immediate feedback to help improve the overall quality standards of the department.
- Report quality numbers on a daily basis with quality improvement recommendations.
- Lift up to 50 pounds while performing audits and use foot to operate a machine to lift heavier products.
- Use warehouse management software (WMS) to assist with locating orders and products within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety procedures and rules established in the facility.
- Wear proper PPE.
- Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards.
- Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or damaged products.
- Actively participate in all safety and other training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 months of warehouse distribution center experience.
- Understanding of distribution center operations, inspection, quality control/testing, product specifications, and willingness to be cross-trained in all areas.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, training audits, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to become equipment certified.
- Proficiency in basic math.

- High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
