Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift)

About the role

EBAD seeks a Quality Control Technician on the second shift at our Moorpark, California facility. This position supports multiple product families, providing effective verification of products and processes against requirements and disseminating findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of components and assemblies, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Complete all required data entries for inspected items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all established safety guidelines.
• Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals.
• Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• 5+ years of experience inspecting mechanical components in an aerospace or defense-related company.
• Capable of utilizing standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM programming, and optical systems.
• Must be capable of programming CMM using PCDIMS software.
• Basic knowledge of ISO/AS procedures.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to read and understand industry standards and English.
• Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
• Meticulous with high attention to detail.
• Basic PC fundamentals.

Desired Skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt through ASQ or CQE/CQM certification is a plus.
• Significant experience working directly with internal/external customers and suppliers.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 – $75,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
