Quality Control Technician - 12 hour rotating night shifts

Agru America, Inc., a global leader in plastics and geosynthetics manufacturing for over 70 years, is expanding its team in Georgetown, South Carolina. We seek motivated individuals to join our quality-focused operations.

Responsibilities

• Examine, measure, and test the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Utilize a database to record measurements.
• Label and package archived product or marketing samples.
• Notify supervisor or manager promptly if product deficiencies are found.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the company as needed.

Requirements

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Basic mathematic and unit conversion skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Written and verbal communication in English.
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• At least 1 year of quality testing experience (preferred).
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use stairs or ladders, drive an automatic forklift, climb, squat, stoop, twist, bend, grab, and grasp.
• Capability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
