About the role
Agru America, Inc., a global leader in plastics and geosynthetics manufacturing for over 70 years, is expanding its team in Georgetown, South Carolina. We seek motivated individuals to join our quality-focused operations.
Responsibilities
- Examine, measure, and test the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Utilize a database to record measurements.
- Label and package archived product or marketing samples.
- Notify supervisor or manager promptly if product deficiencies are found.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company as needed.
Requirements
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Basic mathematic and unit conversion skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Written and verbal communication in English.
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- At least 1 year of quality testing experience (preferred).
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use stairs or ladders, drive an automatic forklift, climb, squat, stoop, twist, bend, grab, and grasp.
- Capability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
