Duties And/Or Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in asphalt sample collection and preparation.
• Assemble and report test results accurately.
• Briefly inform supervisor about out-of-specification or questionable test results.
• Be familiar with test methods, material specifications, and lab schedules.
• Prepare samples for shipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Document maintenance and calibration activities appropriately.
• Generate reports for upper management and/or regulatory agencies.
• Maintain production targets to reduce costs while adhering to specifications.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and prevent unsafe actions.

Minimum Qualifications

• General education, grammar and arithmetic skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
