Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect products according to specifications using measuring instruments.
  • Recommend adjustments to production processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Complete basic electrical and mechanical testing of subsystem assemblies.
  • Inspect platforms/vehicles to ensure equipment is ready for integration.
  • Audit inspection results for trend analysis and root cause analysis to propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • An active Secret clearance.
  • A HS Diploma/GED with 5 years of experience as a product quality control inspector.
  • 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Supervisor and supporting military contracts.
  • Experience and/or training in electronics, vehicle operation, electrical wiring, and product assembly.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings and interconnection diagrams.
  • Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
  • The ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, and calipers.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of an ISO 9001:2015 QMS system.
  • Associate’s degree in engineering or technical discipline preferred.
  • The physical ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or process improvement concepts.

Pay
