Quality Control Specialist (V2) - Second Shift, NJ (temp-to-hire)

About the role

We’re looking for an Operations Associate to join our Quality Team to verify client request(s) for each individual order and verify quantity and quality of outgoing product.

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm ET

Responsibilities

• Inspects assembled parts and product for defects and deviations
• Counts and verifies that the product quantity matches the submission form
• Verifies that information on submission form matches the identifying sticker on outside of box
• Verifies that all information on flip matches the information on the collectible item

Requirements

• Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Proficiency with computers and software applications such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, 10-key, and effective internet searching
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written (e.g., email)
• Strong teamwork abilities and ability to collaborate well with others
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
• Respect for others and ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated accuracy while maintaining high productivity
• Ability to follow instructions and respond to management directions

Physical Requirements

• Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting/looking at a computer for potentially long periods
• Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise (e.g., forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery)
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds
• Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks
• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions
• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

Pay

The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $18. Actual compensation varies based on location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
