Quality Control Specialist

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in food safety, food quality, or related role
• Knowledge of regulatory food health standards and compliance requirements
• Effective communication skills for continuous food safety & quality improvements
• Able to operate independently and in a team environment
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office (corresponding with vendors) and take pictures (download, format)
• Able to work in and out of a cold environment

Qualifications

• Past history as an SQF Practitioner or have knowledge
• Key involvement in implementing and/or sustaining a GFSI food safety audit scheme

Benefits

The usual schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. The work environment includes all parts of the warehouse, with the most time spent on our receiving dock (dry non-air conditioned & refrigerated 40F).
