Quality Control Specialist
About the role
Our Federal Team at Garver is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to oversee the Total Quality Management Program, ensuring that architecture and engineering deliverables meet specified standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate multi-discipline Quality Control Reviews
- Participate in the review of civil-related portions of Project Plans, Project Specifications, and Design Reports
- Aid in the review of civil-related construction submittals
- Attend design progress meetings for select projects
- Ensure appropriate quality control procedures are followed
- Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with project contract requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 20+ years of site/civil project experience
- Detail-oriented and a team player with strong self-initiative to meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Skills
- USACE and other DoD-type projects
- Construction observation and/or submittal reviews for site/civil-related projects
- Registered Professional Engineer
