Quality Control Manager - Structural Steel Fitter

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for dimensions, materials, and instructions to ensure alignment with engineering standards and customer expectations.
• Identify discrepancies before they become costly problems and collaborate with project managers and design teams to resolve them quickly.
• Verify bolt quantities, confirm specifications, and ensure every detail is correct before production begins.
• Update and finalize drawings and prepare clear, organized packages for the shop floor so the team has everything they need to work efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records, track revisions, and keep documentation audit-ready as the critical checkpoint that keeps projects running smoothly.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a coordination or technical role within a fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and material requirements.
• Familiarity with equipment and facility processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Preferred: additional training or certifications in drafting, engineering, or manufacturing processes.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our Houston, TX facility.
