What You'll Do
- Perform quality inspections using weight checks, measurements, and visual assessments
- Document findings accurately and promptly
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and line leads
- Ensure production processes meet all quality system requirements
- Use lab and testing equipment such as pH meters, balances, and vacuum testers
- Maintain traceability and correct labeling of materials on the line
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Previous QC or manufacturing experience - at least 3 to 6 months in a similar role preferred
- Adaptability: Able to move between departments and interact with machine operators to identify and correct quality issues
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and the ability to spot inconsistencies or defects
- Communication Skills: Capable of clearly documenting inspection results and effectively communicating problems and solutions to team members
- Multitasking Ability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities
- Basic Computer Literacy: Ability to learn and use spreadsheet and word processing software
- Math Proficiency: Able to perform basic calculations using the metric system
- Discretion and Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
