QUALITY CONTROL TECH

Responsibilities

• Sample and test aggregate, asphalt and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards.
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.

Requirements

• Quality Control experience/certifications required.
• Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability.
• Computer spreadsheet experience preferred.
• Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary.
• Must be able to lift material samples of 75 lbs. approximately 10-15 times per day on occasion more depending on duties required.
• Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided.
• Ability to work overtime; nights, weekends.
• Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
