Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, components, and final products to ensure they meet the set specifications.
  • Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM to measure and test product features for deviation from specifications.
  • Interpret and analyze schematic drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure conformity to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Utilize InspectionXpert software for quality control and inspection processes.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Communicate inspection results and feedback to manufacturing team and management.
  • Participate in the development of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Aid in the implementation of quality control training programs for the production team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service when necessary.

Qualifications

  • An A.A degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
  • Proficient in using InspectionXpert or similar quality control software.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
