Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, components, and final products to ensure they meet the set specifications.
- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM to measure and test product features for deviation from specifications.
- Interpret and analyze schematic drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure conformity to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Utilize InspectionXpert software for quality control and inspection processes.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Communicate inspection results and feedback to manufacturing team and management.
- Participate in the development of corrective and preventive actions.
- Aid in the implementation of quality control training programs for the production team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service when necessary.
Qualifications
- An A.A degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
- Hands-on experience with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
- Proficient in using InspectionXpert or similar quality control software.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
