Quality Control Inspector

Description Of Responsibilities

• Pre-pour and post-pour examination of precast concrete to assure product conforms to specifications.
• Observe and record stressing operations.
• Testing of concrete to assure concrete meets project specifications.
• Detailed record keeping of all testing operations.
• Confirm product is finished and ready for delivery to site.
• Perform cylinder strength testing at various stages.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards.

Essential Candidate Qualities, Preferences And Skills

• Sive Analysis Certification.

Essential Requirements

• Must be able to read and understand production drawings.
• ACI Field Grade I Certification.
• PCI Level I and Level II Certification.
• Shift work is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be total mobile in and around the Plant.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• ACI Strength Certification.
• ACI Lab Certification.
• ACI Aggregate Certification.
• ACI SCC Certification.
• Experience with SCC testing.
• Prior experience in quality control.
• Experience working in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be very active and constantly requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Hourly Payrate

$26.00 – $35.00
