Quality Control Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects each home. Utilizes check sheet and inspects each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects.
• Follows up on repairs - continuously. Inspects each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been done and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
• Collaborates with the Quality Control Manager and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications, and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives, and systems are compliant with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually striving to enhance the level of quality assurance within the facility.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the guidelines established by the Company in line with OSHA regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stands, uses hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaches with hands and arms, talks and hears.
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 100 pounds.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education and/or Experience

• High School degree or GED
• One-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
